Andrew Howarth

Andrew loves to exhibit his artistry through his dancing and choreography. He truly enjoys performing on stage as well as performing for many charities, benefits, and community shows. He also participates in dance workshops and conventions throughout the year. Andrew has won numerous special awards, scholarships, and titles such as “Teen Mr. Dancer’s Inc -2010″ at the Dancers Inc Nationals, Worcester Regional Title of “America’s Dancer of the Year” from American Dance Awards and “Mr. Diva Dance 2013” from Diva Dance Competition.  Andrew began his desire for dance at age 6 with the Mary McInerney School of Irish Step Dance for 5 years. Then he continued to pursue more training in ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, lyrical and musical theater with the Jo Ann Warren Studio in Worcester, MA from 2006 to June 2011. From 2011 to 2013, he then danced with the Patti Eisenhauer Dance Center in Franklin, MA. Some of Andrew’s performance credits include, Steps Off Broadway shows in Bellingham, MA, Festival Ballet Providence, Patti Eisenhauer Dance Center’s production of The Nutcracker, and dancer/choreographer for the non-profit Dance Company, Stylized Movement. Andrew also participated in the project, Dancers in the Parks, under the photography of Mike Nyman. He was involved as a  principal  dancer/choreographer with the dance company, Shadows – Dance Art Experience, located in Worcester, MA where he was the Assistant Producer for the Company’s first showcase. Andrew now is a choreographer and dancer for DCW – The Dance Company of Worcester located in Millbury, MA. He gets contacted by studios and companies all over the New England region to teach master classes and to choreograph routines. His high energy classes are known for being challenging, inspiring, and stylistically fresh. Andrew strives to create a classroom environment that is safe and inspiring, helping students to connect the movement and music with their soul and let go of their inhibitions. Individual attention to each student is a goal in every class. Andrew has a broad background of training, professional entertainment and performance. He shares his knowledge, instilling understanding, discipline and an eagerness to learn. Andrew offers master classes in contemporary, lyrical, jazz and technique for the beginning student to the professional dancer. Andrew is a great resource as a guest choreographer for concert and competition pieces. Private coaching and solo, duet and trio choreography is also available. His innovative, hard hitting, heartfelt and class act choreography always stands out in competitions and showcases. Andrew has graduated from Tahanto Regional High School in 2013 and is now attending Quinsigamond Community College majoring in Early Childhood Education. Andrew’s long term vision is to have his own Dance Studio where he will train young boys and girls to become future artists in the world of dance.


L.A. Gold

L.A.Gold a native of Worcester, Ma has been dancing since the age of 2 years old. Miss Gold is versed in many different styles of dance including ballet, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, musical theatre and her favorite tap. L.A.’s hard work, dedication and passion for dance can be seen in the classroom from both a student as well as a teacher. L.A. has won numerous awards and titles on both the regional and national level including Olympic Miss Dance and has been recognized with scholarships including the Al Gilbert Tap Scholarship She began her professional career at the age of 18 when she toured on the International tour of “Care Bears Live: Caring and Sharing Friends!” playing the role of energetic and charismatic “Cheer Bear”. Other credits include dancing for the Major League Soccer World Cup halftime show, tap dancing off broadway in two different shows including one along side the world renowned Duke Ellington Orchestra. L.A. has appeared in the films Ted, Edge of Darkness and Loosies to name a few as well as on ABC’s Body of Proof. L.A. is excited to be a part of Dance Company Worcester this year and to share her love and knowledge of dance with the company.


 DJ Mike Drohan

Mike Drohan A.K.A DJ Mike D, at an early age Mike had a special passion for music and its because of this love for music he has been so successful in his career. A long time friend Derek Holt A.K.A DJ Holtie asked Mike to be his promoter for his local gigs and DJ nights at many establishments. Soon there after Mike became Dereks apprentice. Mike has been DJ and provided musical entertainment for Weddings, birthdays, and private parties. Mike is also the resident DJ of DCW Dance Company Worcester as he provides live music for all rehearsals and any live performances. Mike has worked in Worcester, Boston, Rhode Island and even Florida. For any occasion Dj Mike D will sound and supply all your music needs without any worries.
